The Covent Garden Hotel's Sake Martini – Recipe

For something a little unexpected, sample this refined martini-inspired drink. It’s light, aromatic and sippable, and pairs nicely with a few chunks of parmesan.

Sake Martini

Serves 1

30ml gin – choose a premium dry gin

15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine

15ml sake – a light, medium-bodied one, ideally

Measure the gin, Lillet Blanc and sake into a shaker, add a big handful of ice cubes and stir for 30 seconds to chill well. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass and serve.
